Granudan Watershield (Water-based)
Granudan Watershield is one of our most popular products. The product has a high release power and is perfect for productions with epoxy and no gel coats. Our Watershield is to be used on molds where the molded parts are more difficult to demold.
This product is easy to use and contains no (PFAS) fluorine-containing substances and is therefore not harmful to the environment or in the production.
Curing time: 15 min between applications, 30 min after last application
Thermal stability up to 260°C
Approx. 130 sqm./liter.

Description
Watershield is our best sold product to date. The product is approved and certified for clients both within Aerospace and Wind, and very suitable for abrasive demoldings and processes in higher temperatures. The product is selected by clients within high advanced composites, PU and even polymer concrete who take great advantage of the signifiant high release power from WaterShield. For Wind Blades manufacturing Watershield is being used for non-gelcoated epoxy parts such and webs, mandrells, root joints etc.
